As Co-Directors
of the
Miami International Guitar Festival, we want
to share with you the anticipation and enthusiasm mounting in the community
for this event. Aficionados, students and professionals will be offered a
variety of concerts, lectures, workshops and master classes by accomplished
performers and pedagogues. At the evening concerts you will have the
opportunity of hearing the exciting performances of some of the young up and
coming guitarists from the U.S., Nicaragua, Mexico, Spain, Russia and Cuba . The city of
Miami, with its diverse ethnic cultures and
beautiful climate, and the
University of Miami’s
lovely campus is the perfect setting to spend a week in June.
